JQ Sirls

JQ Sirls is an interdisciplinary artist, author, and designer working in bookmaking, illustration, product design, performance and animation. With a passion for essentialist design and nonsensical childlike imagination, JQ's practice consists of merging both to bring youthfulness into serious works and simplicity into fanciful works. This practice fuels his ongoing challenge to create a shared enthusiasm in adults and youth on projects that are commonly exclusive to one or the other.

JQ holds a Master's degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Full Sail University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Rockhurst University. 

JQ currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
